If I wait tables and my company sent me ONCE to work 2 days in another state does that mean I have to report money made in another state?

You will need to report those wages on your federal return but most states have minimum filing requirements. 

You can use your internet search engine on the name of your state, tax, and "need to file" and it should come up easily.
