I need help to change my taxes and put that I was claimed as a dependent by my parents. At the time of filling my taxes out I didn’t know that they claimed me as a dependent because I had a great job and I was not dependent on them whatsoever besides living in their house. How can I edit my taxes because it’s already been rejected? Pllleaasse help me!

Maybe we need some more details to figure out if your parents should have claimed you. It is possible that your parents are the ones who should amend their return so you could claim yourself. You have not included any information about yourself for us. Here is what your parents would need to claim you:
WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, fiance (etc.) as a dependent on your 2018 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
• They are related to you.
• They cannot be claimed as a dependent by someone else.
• They are a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.
• They are not filing a joint return with their spouse.
• They are under the age of 19 (or 24 for full-time students).
- No age limit for permanently and totally disabled children
• They live with you for more than half the year (exceptions apply).
Qualifying relative
• They don't have to be related to you (despite the name).
• They cannot be claimed as a dependent by someone else.
• They are a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident.
• They are not filing a joint return with their spouse.
• They lived with you the entire year.
• They made less than $4,150 in 2018
• You provided more than half of their financial support. More info
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them.
Related Information:
• Does a dependent have to live with me?
• What does "financially support another person" mean?

Go to My Info. Click edit by your name. Go through the screens. You will be asked if someone else can claim you as a dependent. Say yes. That is all. You do not even have to say who claimed you, just that you could be claimed as someone else's dependent.

As long as your return was rejected and not filed, go to My Info and click Edit by your name. Then scroll down to #3. Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.
