Once you receive your 1099-G for unemployment that you received in 2020, you will be able to include that on your tax return.
Unemployment compensation is taxable and must be reported on your income tax return. Taxable benefits include any of the special unemployment compensation authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which includes PUA benefits.
