CA State Return dropped

Oklahoma resident with an LLC (w/ an S-Corp election) registered as a CA Foreign LLC.  I completed and filed my CA 100S which showed a net loss for 2022.  Using TurboTax Home and Business I completed doing my Federal 1040 as well as my OK returns... I then paid for a second state form for CA and went thru the interview and had no liability to CA.  I saved it (at least I thought I did) and let it marinate for a few days...when I reopened the file the CA data is not there.  Since there is no liability for CA do I not need to file anything other than the CA 100S?  Otherwise, why would the data be gone unless I didn't save it?

CA State Return dropped

Since you don't have any income from California, you don't need to file the personal state tax return. It would be different if you need to file a business return since you would be reporting  income and expenses, but since you did that with the corporate return, the personal return would not be required. You do need to save your return before you close it. It is possible you saved it somewhere on your computer hard drive but it is not where you are looking.
