Hi Susan, thanks for the reply. I have some more details that might clarify my specific situation, and some follow-up questions:
- The link was not sent to me via email; I found it via google search
- I was not signed into my CIBC account when I clicked 'File Today'
- I've already started but have not yet completed my 2023 tax return via the TurboTax portal.
Questions:
- Must I be signed into my CIBC account in the same browser when I click the 'File Today' button?
- Must I be signed into my TurboTax during the same browser session?
- Must I delete my current return and start a new 2023 tax return for the discount to be applied?
- In the event that the discount is not applied when I go to pay, after completing a draft of my full tax return, can I ask the support team to send me a refund manually?
Thanks for entertaining the above scenarios, I just want to ensure that the system applies the discount, even though there was no confirmation on my end, cheers.
